CEA Review Committee Scheduled For 05/10/2021

The CEA Review Committee is meeting 05/10/2021 at 4pm.

There is one item on the agenda.

Request from the Fire Department to:

• Eliminate Unit 851 from the CEA Fleet
• Purchase and retain Unit 851 for the estimated salvage value of $22,040 with Hazardous Materials money
• Use Replacement Reserve funds from Unit 851 to purchase two 3/4 ton, four door pick-up trucks
• Use Replacement Reserve funds from Unit 851 to upgrade Unit 803 from a mid-sized SUV to a 1/2 ton, four door pick-up truck.

After the intense emotions and debate over the last two weeks regarding some of the items before committees and the Council, something this mundane may be a welcome change. Although I do think it would be really funny if 20 people showed up to this meeting and spent an hour giving public comment on it.
