The Appleton Redevelopment Authority is meeting 05/08/2024 at 9AM.
The only action items are all housekeeping issues regarding electing officers and setting the date and time of the meeting.
They have two information items.
The first is an update on the Mayor’s taskforce on Housing development Policy. One would assume that this update would be similar to the overview provided to the City Plan Commission and the Community Development Committee back in April.
The second is an update on 222 N Oneida Street, the vacant lot directly north of the Transit Center. The environmental investigation of the site is over and, per the memo from Director of Community Development Kara Homan, “We are awaiting final notification from DNR on closure of the case.”
The site has also been approved for use as a staging area for construction activities related to the Library project.
