The Community and Economic Development Committee is meeting 08/11/2021 at 4:30PM.
They will be receiving the Community & Economic Development Department Mid-Year 2021 Budget Report, but that’s an information item that requires no action.
The one action item they’ll be discussing and voting on is a request to approve a development agreement with Merge LLC for a mixed-use development on Washington Street across from the library and next to City center where the Conway Hotel used to be.
Per the memo included in the agenda, “The proposed concept is for a 5-story development which would include a mix of 56 residential units and ground floor commercial uses.” They also anticipate a “Phase II” which would be built at the location of the former Blue Parking Ramp, but that would be brought forward as a separate Development Agreement.
