Board Of Education Meeting 01/22/2024 – Will Receive Recap Of 2024 State Education Convention, Vote On Middle School Curriculum Changes, Approve 1-Year Contract Extension For Superintendent Hartjes

The Appleton Area School District Board of Education is meeting 01/22/2024 at 6PM.

The agenda looks to be a little on the lighter side.

They will be receiving a recap of the 2024 Wisconsin State Education Convention.

They will be reviewing changes to various middle school art, music, and foreign language programs. These changes have been precipitated by the moving on 6^th grade away from elementary school and into the middle school level.

In addition to approving a number of educator and administrative resignations, retirements, and contract changes, the Board has also been requested to approve a 1 year contract for District Superintendent Greg Hartjes.
