The Appleton Redevelopment Authority is meeting 10/11/2023 at 9:30AM.
They have one action item on the agenda which is a request to approve the Amendment to the Offer to Purchase from Valley Transit for 222 N Oneida Street.
The existing contract to purchase expires on 10/31/2023; however, the DNR case regarding the environmental issues on the site is still not closed, and they estimate that drilling and sampling will not be completed for an additional 6-7 months. As a result, they would like to extend the deadline to purchase until 12/31/2024 which should provide ample time to complete the environmental work.
