City Plan Commission Meeting 07/10/2024 – Will Vote On Final Plat For Lumbini Estates Subdivision With Large Lots That Commissioner Dane Described As “An Inefficient Use Of Precious Land”

The City Plan Commission is meeting 07/10/2024.

They have one action item on the agenda which is a request to approve the Lumbini Estates Final Plat. The preliminary plat was approved by the commission back in April at which time Commissioner Andrew Dane expressed the belief that the large size of the lots was “an inefficient use of precious land that we have.”

The commission will also be receiving as an information item information on the awarding of the contract for updating Appleton’s Comprehensive Plan and Sub-Area Plans to SmithGroup for a total not to exceed $375,000.
