Board Of Health Reviews Dangerous Animal Declaration For Australian Cattle Dog Named Archie – Health Office Sepers Reports That Animal Was Euthanized

The Board of Health met 04/10/2024. One of the information items was a dangerous animal declaration. This was discussed very briefly and the board members did not have any questions.

Per the declaration, Archie an Australian Cattle Dog engaged in an unprovoked attack against a family member resulting in multiple wounds to the face, three of which required stitches.

Health Officer Charles Sepers told the committee that Archie’s owner had put him down following the declaration. He also said that he expected to bring at least two more dangerous animal declarations forward to the Board of Health next month.
