The Utilities Committee is meeting 03/26/2024 at 4:30PM.
They have two action items on the agenda.
The first is a request to purchase turbidity meters for a total not to exceed $41,939.44. What is a turbidity meter? It is an instrument that measures the “cloudiness or haziness of the water caused by the presence of suspended particles such as sediment, silt, and other fine particles,” and it is an important tool to comply with water quality standards.
The second item is a sole source purchase request for auger assembly replacement equipment. I’m sure we are all tingling in anticipation of the discussion for this item.
