The Utilities Committee is meeting 03/12/2024 at 4:30PM.
They will be voting on three contract-related items, one to award the 2024 Native Landscape Management Contract, the 2024 Ash tree removal contract, and the water treatment facility clearwell repairs project base bid.
Additionally, they will be voting on a request to approve the 2023 Annual Stormwater Report to the DNR.
They will also be receiving 2 information items.
The first is an update on the Lead and Galvanized Service Replacement Program. Per the report, it looks like after 2024, there will be no further lead service lines that need to be replaced but there will be at least 903 galvanized service lines that will need to be replaced.
The second is the monthly water main break reports for January and February. Through the end of February 2024, Appleton has experienced 14 water main breaks/leaks as compared to 20 as of the end of February 2023.
