The Appleton Area School District Board of Education is meeting 03/04/2024 at 6PM.
They will be receiving an update on student math and ELA scores post-Covid. Per the PowerPoint slides, “AASD was one of three WI districts recognized for already scoring above our 2019 levels in reading.”
They will also be voting on curriculum revisions for 6th & 7th Grade ELA/Social Studies/Science/PE. This is in preparation for the move of 6th grade from the elementary school level to the middle school level.
They will be voting on a contract renewal of the Appleton eSchool charter school contract and revisions to the Operational Expectations regarding Learning Environment and Student Behavior.
They will also be receiving reports on the 2024-2025 budget, summer school courses for 2024, and the 2023-2024 Achievement gap Reduction mid-year report.
