Meetings will be very sparse this coming week. The Common Council meeting that would typically happen the first Wednesday of the month has been cancelled. Since all of the committee meetings this last week were cancelled, there would have been no business for the Council to take up.
The Appleton Public Arts Committee is, however, currently scheduled to meet 01/03/2024 at 8AM.
They have one item on the agenda which is to approve a photo contest to select the 2024 images to be displayed in the Houdini Plaza Welcome Tower. The theme of the contest is “Recreation in Appleton”. Per the proposed contest rules, “We hope to receive photos that show city residents actively engaging in their favorite recreational activity and to showcase all the City has to offer!”
