The Safety and Licensing Committee is meeting 10/25/2023 at 5:30PM.
The action items consist of various alcohol license applications and one cigarette and tobacco products license application.
There is one public hearing/appearance regarding a recommendation to deny an operator license application. Katie applied for a bartender license; however, the Police Department has recommended it be denied because of her history of civil and/or criminal convictions which includes possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting and obstructing arrest.
The committee will also be reviewing several information items, including the 2024 budgets for the Departments under the jurisdiction of the committee.
