The Human Resources and Information Technology Committee is meeting 10/25/2023 at 4:30PM.
They will be voting on two action items.
The first is a request to approve the Valley Transit Teamsters contract for 2024-2026.
The second is a request to approve alderpersons salaries for 2025. The salary is currently set at $6,750, and that will remain the same for the 2024 aldermanic term. Staff has no recommendations on whether or not to increase it, and has merely provided a historic overview of salaries going back to 2002 as well as a comparison chart of Appleton’s aldermanic compensation as compared to other communities.
Finally, the committee will be receiving several information items. They will be reviewing the 2024 budgets for the Information Technology Department and the Human Resources Department as well as a recruitment status report and a minor point of clarification regarding when the mayor’s 2024 term will start.
