The Municipal Services Committee is meeting 06/12/2023 at 4:30PM.
They’ll be voting on the anticipated awards of two pavement marking contracts, as well as voting on requests for various parking and/or traffic changes and restrictions.
One of those parking/traffic items includes parking changes related to the College Avenue Lane Reconfiguration project. The way that they would like to restripe the street to move from 4 lanes of traffic to 3 lanes of traffic, opens up the possibility of adding some additional parking stalls near the corner of College Avenue and Drew Street which will result in a net increase of 1 stall.
They will also be voting on a lot of parking and traffic-related changes for the Oneida/Morrison/Durkee/Lawrence street reconstruction project.
Finally, the committee will be receiving several information items including the May 2023 Bird E-Scooter monthly report. There were 30 reported issues/complaints in May.
