The Community and Economic Development Committee is meeting 04/26/2023 at 4:30PM.
Outside of electing a vice-chair, designating the contact person, and setting a meeting date and time, the committee has two action items.
The first is a request to apply for Emergency Housing Homeless Funding and approve the City of Appleton as the lead agency and fiscal agency on behalf of the Fox Cities Housing Coalition. This 14 month grant will run from 07/01/2023-09/30/2024. Appleton has served as the lead for this funding since 2014 on behalf of the Fox Cities Housing Coalition.
The committee will also possibly enter closed session to deliberate or discuss negotiations for a potential development agreement and investing of public funds in property located in downtown Appleton.
