The Finance Committee is meeting 07/24/2023 at 5:30PM.
I would expect the meeting to be on the longer side because they are receiving several presentations.
First and foremost, Leah Lasecki with CliftonLarsenAllen will be going over the 2022 Audit and Executive Summary. It looks like Appleton received a “clean’ audit” with no deficiencies or compliance findings reported.
Additionally, the committee will be receiving the mid year reviews for both the Legal Services Department as well as the Finance Department.
There are also four action items.
The committee will be voting on Resolution 7-R-23, the resolution expressing thanks for the changes in shared revenue. This resolution would thank various elected state officials for passing Act 12 and increasing the amount of funds local municipalities receive through shared revenue.
They’ll also be voting on a request to approve an HVAC Replacement Project contract as well as reimbursement requests from Riverside Cemetery and St. Joseph’s Cemetery for the maintenance of veteran graves.
Finally, the committee will receive a number of information items related to various contracts and projects.
