Common Council Meeting 10/19/2022 – Agenda Items All Seem Uncontroversial

The Common Council is meeting 10/19/2022 at 7PM. It looks like it has the potential to be a fairly uneventful meeting.

There are neither proclamations nor anything else listed under the “Business Presented By The Mayor”, and, in looking at the various items to be voted on, it’s difficult to point to anything that seems particularly likely to be separated out for an individual vote. The 2023-2025 contract with the firefighters union garnered some discussion as the Human Resources and Information Technology Committee meeting, but it was not a controversial item. Alderperson Chad Doran (District 15) has well-known interest in and concern for the maintenance of the city’s infrastructure and so may wish to highlight the additions to the 2023 Water Main Replacement Project List, but that item also does not appear to be controversial.
