The Appleton Public Arts Committee is meeting 03/05/2025 at 8AM.
They have one action item on the agenda which is a request from Creative Downtown Appleton, Inc to install a selfie sculpture in Houdini Plaza. City staff is recommending approval of the request contingent on an agreement being signed between the city and Creative Downtown Appleton, Inc memorializing the expectations of the parties including maintenance, liability, indemnification, etc.
As information items, Mayor Woodford will be presenting a Creative Community Champion Award and the committee will be accepting the resignation of member Catherine McKenzie and the New Appointment of Jake Bauer.
