The Library Board is meeting 01/14/2025 at 5PM.
They will be voting on a several policies pertaining to the new library including the Naming Opportunities Policy, Supplemental Space Use Policies, and meeting room rental rates.
They will also be receiving an update on the building project. Per the report, Friends of Appleton Public Library have raised $11.8 million of their $12 million goal, and opening day for the library is still listed as “early 2025”.
They will also be receiving a number of other informational updates including the APL hiring process, Children’s Program, Community Partnerships, and the Wisconsin Library Association’s Library Legislative Day.
