The Board of Health is meeting 09/11/2024 at 7AM.
They have no action items, but they do have three information items.
The first is the 2023 Appleton Health Department Annual Report.
The second is a dangerous animal declaration for a Great Dane named Ziva. Ziva engaged in a string of incidents over the days of 08/22/2024 and 08/23/2024, first aggressively charging at multiple people, then charging at two more people, then, unprovoked, attaching another dog leaving multiple puncture wounds. During all three of these incidents Ziva was not under the control of its owner.
Finally, they will be reviewing new noise variances issued by the Health Department.
