The Municipal Services Committee is meeting 04/22/2024 at 4:30PM.
They will be engaging in some new Council year housekeeping such as electing a Vice Chair and confirming the meeting date and time.
They have three non-administrative action items on the agenda.
The first is a request to approve new street designs for the Emerald Valley Estates subdivision.
The second is street occupancy permit application from a business in the 200 block of W College Avenue to place tables and chairs in the College Avenue beautification strip.
The third is a request from Appleton Downtown Inc to install a parklet near the northwest corner of Washington Street and Appleton Street from May 30 – October 31.
Finally, as an information item, the committee will be reviewing the Parking Utility 2023 Annual Report. The number of permit holders has increased over the past two years, but is still well below pre-Covid levels. The number of citations issued over the last couple years is markedly higher than pre-Covid levels.
