The Safety and Licensing Committee is meeting 04/10/2024 at 5:30PM.
They will be voting on a number of alcohol related licenses, as well as two Fire Department-related items.
One is a request to accept a $25,000 grant to support the purchase of video laryngoscopes to improve intubation success rates.
The second is a request to approve an agreement for urban search and rescue emergency response services between the City of Appleton and the State of Wisconsin.
Additionally, the committee will be taking up the Operator/Bartender license application by Miguel. This application was initially recommended for denial but was then approved by the Safety and Licensing Committee after Miguel was able to provide documentation demonstrating rehabilitation. When it came before the Common Council, Alderperson Chris Croatt (District 14) asked for it to be referred back to the committee because he had some questions about it.
Finally, as an information item, the committee will be receiving the 2023 Fire Department Annual Report.
