Board Of Education Meeting 02/26/2024 – Will Vote On 1-Year Extension To Superintendent Greg Hartjes’ Contract

The Appleton Area School District Board of Education is meeting 02/26/2024 at 6 PM.

Their agenda is fairly full.

They will be receiving an updated on the 5k through 5^th grade STEM program.

They will also be voting on 6^th and 7^th grade curriculum revisions for STEM and a request to approve some supplemental materials for middle school English Language Arts.

They will be voting on a request to issue a one-year contract extension for Superintendent Greg Hartjes which would carry him through 06/30/2025.

They will also be reviewing and approve the Results Monitoring Reports for Science and Civics & Social Studies. Both reports indicate that students are “Making Reasonable Progress with noted exceptions”.

They will be voting on a contract renewals for both the Appleton Technical Academy Charter School and Fox River Academy Charter School. Additionally, they will be discussing as an information item the 5-year contract renewal for Appleton eSchool.
