The Fox Cities Transit Commission is meeting 07/25/2023 at 2:50PM.
They only have one action item which is the approval of payments for June. But they do also have four information items.
Two of those information items are the standard financial report and ridership report for the previous month. Ridership continues to be down markedly from pre-Covid levels, and are not even that much higher from last year. In June of 2023 there were 52,411 total fixed route riders, up by nearly 3,000 from the 49,685 in June of 2022; however, that is nearly 15,000 fewer riders from the 67,334 recorded in June of 2019 and over 20,000 less than the 72,529 recorded in June of 2018.
The commission will also be receiving the 2022 audit presentation as well as a report on the 2nd quarter key performance indicators.
It looks like the fixed route service has been meeting most of its benchmarks with the exception of “Complaints per 100K Rides”, a target they have missed every single month of this year. They did also score a 1.4 in January for reportable events which was slightly higher than the under 1 that they were aiming for, but there have been 0 reportable events for February through June.
