The Human Resources and Information Technology Committee is meeting 06/28/2023 at 4:30PM.
They only have one action item on the agenda which is a reorganization of the Appleton Police Department. Per the memo, the department’s “Support Services Lieutenant will be reassigned to patrol on January 1, 2024. With this change, we have reassigned some duties to the Support Services Administrative Support Specialist position. The Administrative Support Specialist will be changed to the Professional Development Administrative Specialist under the supervision of the Investigations and Support Services Captain.”
This will not have a financial impact in 2023. The memo doesn’t say if this will impact finances in future years.
The committee will also be receiving several information items including the planned sunsetting of the enterprise resource system the city had used prior to moving to TylerMunis.
Additional information items consist of the bus driver referral bonus program, an update on the Connecting Care Clinic’s lease, and the most recent recruitment status report.
