Tax Payment Appeal Board Meeting 05/17/2023 – Will Vote On Request To Credit $379 In Interest Payments After Resident Forgot To Pay Taxes On Time

The Tax Payment Appeal Board is meeting 05/17/2023 at 6PM.

They have one item on the agenda which is an appeal by a resident over the interest they accrued on an overdue tax bill. The resident lists as a reason for the request that he was out of town on business and missed his calendar reminder. He is asking for a credit of $379.17.

[I say this as gently as I possibly can: I too would like to fail one of the recurring responsibilities I have as a property owner and then be paid nearly $400.]
