The Human Resources and Information Technology Committee is meeting 04/26/2023 at 6:30PM.
In addition to electing a vice chair, setting the meeting date and time, and designating a contact person, the committee will be voting on two action items.
The first is a request to award network managed services to Heartland Business Systems. HBS has been working with the city on some of their IT needs. Per the memo, the original bids for data center managed services all came back too high, so the city made some changes and asked for new bids which were still higher than budgeted for but low enough that they were manageable.
The second item is a request from the Police Department to take funds that were left unused due to a vacancy in the clerical department and use them to hire a Police Community Engagement Specialist.
