CEA Review Committee Meeting 03/20/2023 – Health Officer Requests Second Public Health Nurse Vehicle Due To Increased Nurse Travel Needs Causes By “Exponential Growth” Of Tuberculosis Cases In Appleton

The CEA Review Committee is meeting 03/20/2023 at 3:30PM.

They are being asked to approve the addition of a couple vehicles to the CEA fleet, upgrade a truck when it’s replaced next year, and keep a vehicle as a spare after its replacement arrives.

One item of interest as highlighted in a request regarding a public health nurse vehicle, Appleton has experienced “exponential growth in TB cases and associated directly observed therapy (DOT) has dramatically increased the need for Public Health Nursing staff to travel.”
