The Appleton Area School District Board of Education is meeting 03/13/2023. They will hold a closed session meeting at 5:30PM to discussion staff contract matters. The open portion of the meeting will begin at 6PM or whenever the closed session ends, whichever is later.
The action items on the agenda look to be mostly routine, consisting of the routine financial item as well as the approval of new hires, educator contracts for 2023-2024, contract changes, educator resignations, and administrative hires.
The Board will be watching a performance by the band from Classical School and receiving a report on the District’s Wellness Policy Evaluation Tool. It looks that AASD is scoring better than the WI average on the School Health Index but have still identified three areas that could be improved—School Health Services, Community Involvement, and Family Involvement.
