The Safety and Licensing Committee is meeting 03/08/2023 at 5:30PM.
Hard on the heels of the committee having their first Demerit Point Violation Appearance with the Chadwick’s Bar owners on 03/01/2023, they will be having their second Demerit Point Violation Appearance with representatives from the Durty Leprechaun. Points of anywhere between 25-149 require an appearance before the Safety and Licensing Committee by a bar owner to explain the steps they are taking to reduce the likelihood of receiving further points. The agenda does not indicate how many demerit points the Durty Leprechaun has or how they were acquired
The committee will also be voting on one action item, an alcohol license transfer for the Grand Meridian. The previous license holder passed away, so his personal representative is asking for the license to be transferred to her.
The committee will also receive a number of information items including updates to the city’s Emergency Operations Plan, the 2022 Appleton Fire Department Annual Report, and Director’s reports from the City Clerk, The Fire Chief, and the Police Chief.
