The Common Council is meeting 01/18/2023 at 7PM.
The item on the agenda probably of most interest to the public is the Library Project update. The Library Board was told back in December that the scope of the project was being reduced and that the new design update would be presented to the Common Council on 01/18/2023.
There are not a lot of committee items coming to the Council this week, and the ones that are are not necessarily controversial. One never knows exactly what if anything will be separated out for individuals votes.
The resolution changing the district 12 polling place garnered a fair bit of discussion.
The development agreement for a mixed-use apartment/commercial development at the downtown Chase Bank property did not result in a lot of discussion at the committee-level, but I did sense a certain level of interest if not even excitement about the project from the committee members.
