The Safety and Licensing Committee is meeting 10/12/2022 at 5:30PM.
Action items consist of several alcohol license application as well as a cigarette license application.
Information items include information on a $2,000 grant the Fire Department has applied for. During the 09/28/2022 Safety and Licensing Committee meeting, Fire Chief Jeremy Hansen reported that the fire department had not been awarded a grant they had been hoping for that would have paid for a new CPR mannequin. He said at the time that they would look for other grants that could potentially fund that purchase. It looks like this new grant is an attempt to find a new funding source.
Finally, the committee will be reviewing the 2023 budgets for Legal Services, Fire, Haz-Mat, and Public Safety Capital Project Funds.
