The Finance Committee is meeting 09/26/2022 at 5:30PM.
The item most of note on the agenda is probably the request to deny all bids for the Appleton Public Library project. On 09/20/2022, the bids came back $14 million over budget, so the city is wanting to deny all bids, rework the design and scope of the project, and rebid it in 2023.
The committee will also be voting on a request to award a contract for the 2022 Lake Station Gate Improvements project, a request to approve a contract amendment for a sewer and water contract, and two budget amendments related to grants. Of note, the FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant for a regional radio project was discussed during the January Safety and Licensing Committee meeting.
