Special Meetings Of The Finance Committee And Safety And Licensing Committee Scheduled For 09/07/2022 – Will Vote On Necessary Business Ahead of The Common Council Meeting

There are two special committee meetings scheduled for 09/07/2022 ahead of the Common Council meeting.

The first is a special meeting of the Finance Committee at 6:15PM.

They have one action item which is a request to approve a 2022 budget amendment to record the acceptance of the Assistance to Firefighters Grant for the paramedic training program. [This is a pretty straightforward item and it would surprise me if the meeting took up the full 15 minutes in was scheduled for.]

At 6:30PM the Safety and Licensing Committee will be holding a special meeting.

They have a number alcohol license applications that they will be voting on as well as a second hand article license.

They will also be receiving the normal Director Reports from the City Clerk, the Fire Chief, and the Police Chief as well as information on a Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness Grant that the Fire Department intends to apply for.
