The Appleton Public Arts Committee is meeting 09/07/2022 at 8:30AM.
They will be voting on a request to approve a photo contest to select the next pictures to be placed in the Houdini Plaza Welcome Tower.
As currently proposed, the contest would ask for “images from around the City of Appleton that represent the city from their viewpoint. These images could be iconic places, structures or monuments that are unique to the City, such as the locks, riverfront, paper mills or other historic industry, bridges, downtown, parks, trails, etc. Images could also represent the cultural arts, performing arts and showcase the diversity in our community.”
They have also created two categories, one for entrants 18 and over and one for those 17 and under.
