The Municipal Services Committee is meeting 08/08/2022 at 4:30PM.
The agenda is not too full and includes only two action items.
The first action item is a variance request from a property owner to have a driveway widened more that 4 feet into the front yard. This had been discussed during the 07/25/2022 committee meeting during which some options were brought up regarding how the property owner could come into compliance. The committee ended up holding the item until this meeting to give the property owner time to work those details out. That item also garnered a surprising amount of discussion on the All Things Appleton Facebook page with several commenters feeling that the property owner ought to be left alone because he appeared to have really improved the property and made it look much nicer than it had previously.
The committee will also be voting on a contract change to the design services contract related to the Olde Oneida Street Bridge which would increase the contract by $20,000.
