Appleton Redevelopment Authority Meeting 03/09/2022 – Will Vote On Expo Center Advisory Committee Reappointments, Receive Update On Renovations of Valley Transit’s Whitman Avenue Facility

The Appleton Redevelopment Authority is meeting 03/09/2022 at 9AM.

They have one action item on the agenda which is to approve reappointments to the Appleton Redevelopment Authority Exhibition Center Advisory Committee. The three people being reappointed are Walter Rugland, Amanda Hedtke, and Marissa Downs.

There is one Public Appearance. Ron McDonald, the General Manager of Valley Transit, and Sarah Schneider, Valley Transit’s Mobility Manager will be giving a presentation on the upgrades on the Whitman Avenue facility and the navigator position.

The committee will also be receiving several information items including (a) a report on the recent meeting of the Exhibition Center Advisory Committee, (b) the status of bonds for the Fox Cities Expo Center, and (c) an update on city-wide ARA business enhancements grants.

Also noted on the agenda is that there is a “College North Neighborhood Plan Open House on Monday, April 11, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the City Center Board Room, City Center Plaza, 10 E. College Avenue, 1st Floor toward East End (Walk thrus will take about 15 minutes, you can stop by anytime during the 3-hour window).”
