The Human Resources and Information Technology Committee is meeting 02/23/2022 at 6:30PM.
They have three action items on the agenda….
(1) A request to move the Pool Manager position for pay grade 7 to pay grade 8 as a way to attract enough quality candidates for the upcoming season.
(2) A request to over-hire for Benefits Coordinator position in HR. The departing employee has over 35 years of experience and holds a wealth of knowledge so the Human Resources Director believes the city would benefit by having them provide training to their replacement for 4 weeks.
(3) A request to change the Information Technology table of organization. The Information Technology Director wants to remain the “Mainframe” organization to “Development”, rename the “Network” organization to “Operations”, and have the Software engineer report to the Lead Systems Analyst. These changes would more accurately reflect how the department currently runs and would have no financial impact.
The committee will also receive two information items which include a 2021 end of year report on the Connecting Care Clinic, and a recruitment status report.
