Community And Economic Development Committee Meeting 02/09/2022 – May Go Into Closed Session To Discuss The Sale Of Lots In Northeast Industrial Park And Southpoint Commerce Park

The Community and Economic Development Committee is meeting 02/09/2022 at 4:30PM. They have a surprisingly full agenda.

They will be voting on taking the Community Development Block grant (CDBG) funding remaining from what was allocated to the Appleton Housing Authority and reallocating it to Rebuilding Together Fox Valley.

They will also be voting on a request to approve the Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus Policy.

They will also be voting on Resolution #2022-01 – Support for Amending the Articles of Organization and the By-Laws of East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission to modify the Board composition for the commission. This resolution would remove the Gubernatorial appointments to the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning “because of the extreme delays in obtaining the Appointments for the Commission Board.”

Finally, the committee will be voting on the sales of Lot 3 in the Northeast Industrial Park and Lot 11 of Southpoint Commerce Park. The committee may go into closed session while discussion these items.
