Appleton did not update its Covid dashboard yesterday. When I checked this morning it still was not updated. I’m not sure if they ever put up the November 1 numbers, but the November 2 numbers are now available. On 11/02/2021 Appleton recorded 19 confirmed cases and 14 probable cases. Active cases dropped by 2 to 271. Cases out of isolation increased by 103 to 11,247. Deaths remained unchanged at 72.
Appleton’s current 7-day running average of new confirmed cases is 26.71 and of confirmed and probable cases combined is 36.14. Both of these are lower than the 7 day running average of confirmed cases on this day last year of 54. (Appleton did not start recording probable cases until 11/23/2020.) Appleton currently has 271 active cases as compared to 271 as compared to 692 on this day last year. Last year between March 18 (the day of Appleton’s first recorded case) and November 2 Appleton recorded 27 deaths with/from coronavirus, as compared to only 9 deaths during that same timeframe this year.
