Both of those are lower than the 7-day running average of confirmed cases on this day last year of 49.14. (Appleton did not record probable cases until 11/23/2020.) Appleton currently has 311 active cases as compared to 623 on this day last year. Last year between March 18 (the day of Appleton’s first recorded case) and October 5, Appleton recorded 10 deaths with/from coronavirus as compared to only 5 during that same timeframe this year.
