The Appleton Board of Review is meeting 06/03/2021 at 9AM.
One business is contesting their assessment. The City of Appleton increased the assessment for Dental Associates on Wisconsin Avenue to $1,754,300. Dental Associates is claiming that that assessment exceeds the market value of the property and is arguing that it should be lowered to $740,770–less than half of what Appleton assessed it at.
[I gotta say, I love meetings like this. It’s basically reality television if reality television were actually real and consisted of simple townsfolk fighting for their right to do things like install a fence on their property, erect a second business sign, or not be charged taxes based on a sky-high assessment.]
