Coronavirus numbers for 05/30/2021 are now available. Appleton has stopped posting numbers over the weekend, so these numbers are for 05/28-05/30. Over the course of those dates, Appleton had 3 new confirmed cases and 1 new probable case. Active cases dropped by 13 to 57. The last time they were that low was on May 26, 2020, approximately one year ago. Active cases rose by 17 to 8,693. Deaths remained unchanged at 65.
Over the course of the last week, Appleton had a total of 12 confirmed cases and 6 probable cases for a combined total of 18. This brings our 2 week burden down to 81 when calculated using both confirmed and probable cases and all the way down to 65 when calculated using only confirmed cases. These numbers are in line with where our burden was in June of 2020.
