Coronavirus numbers for 0527/2021. 1 new confirmed case and 1 new probable. Active cases rose by 1 to 70. Cases out of isolation increased by 1 to 8,676. Deaths remained unchanged at 65.
Appleton has announced that its Covid dashboard will only be updated Monday-Friday and not on the weekends going forward. I had traditionally shared a pie chart showing Appleton’s toral numbers on Sunday evening, but I will be retiring that chat. Active cases and deaths are both so low they barely show up on the chart. Currently 0.09% (1/10th of 1%) of Appletons residents have an active case of coronavirus. An additional 0.09% have died with/from the virus since March of last year. 11.57% have recovered from the virus. 88.25% of Appletons residents either have not had coronavirus or have had such mild cases that they did not warrant testing.
