A bit of an update on the Gutenberger child abuse case.
Gabriel and Lisa Gutenberger had been facing 4 felony counts each for the abuse they perpetrated against Gabriel’s two children from his first marriage. The State has now tacked on 9 additional felony charges for each of them. In Gabriel’s case, one of those charges has a “use of a dangerous weapon” modifier.
Dade Marthaler, Lisa’s adult son, had been facing one felony and one misdemeanor charge and has now had another felony added to those. In a separate case, filed April 27, 2021, he is facing five separate counts of felony bail jumping.
The arraignment in the abuse case is currently scheduled for 07/12/2021.
