The Appleton Area School District is accepting public comment on proposed science curricula for grades K-5 and grade 6. The deadline to submit those comments is 5pm on Thursday May 6, 2021.
The K-5 curriculum is called “Mystery Science” and looks like it was created by the people who make the Mystery Doug YouTube videos.
The Grade 6 curriculum is “Earth and Space Science” published by Newsela. Newsela is a tech startup whose materials as of 2016 were in 75% of classrooms.
