The Fox Cities Hotel Room Tax Commission is meeting 12/14/2020 at 3pm. The most interesting agenda items to me look like the Financial Reports–both the status of room tax collections and the outstanding room taxes. The city of Kaukauna still has some unpaid taxes as does the Red Lion due to its bankruptcy.
As you can probably guess, room taxes are way down this year. Second quarter room tax funds were down 76% compared to last year. 3rd quarter funds collected were down 65%. Overall 2020 1st-3rd quarter funds collected are down 55% from last year.
