Apparently, the city of Appleton has a Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Comittee that currently has a vacancy they’re looking to fill. The committee provides “a forum for citizens with an interest in or knowledge of bicycling and/or pedestrian issues to review local, regional, and national bicycle and pedestrian needs and/or trends and provide feedback, comments, and/or recommendations to the appropriate departments on bicycle and pedestrian planning, infrastructure, safety, education, engineering, enforcement, and encouragement.”
The current position must be filled by either a bicyclist or a pedestrian who lives or owns property in Appleton.
Until this moment, I had zero idea this committee existed. I bet their meetings are riveting.
