Coronavirus Numbers For 11/28/2020

It looks like we will be getting coronavirus numbers for 11/28/2020 after all. There were 20 new confirmed cases and 2 new probable cases reported. Active cases decreased by 3. Cases out of isolation increased by 25. Although the reporting breaks out new confirmed and probable cases, it lumps all confirmed and probable into the active cases. If the last 6 days of probable cases (37 total) were removed, active cases would be 740.

No new deaths were reported.

As you can see, the 7 day average of cases has decreased fairly markedly over the last 7 days. It’s not clear yet whether that reflects an actual decrease or whether it’s simply a result of fewer tests being performed or processed over the Thanksgiving week. Numbers from this upcoming week should help us see if cases really are decreasing or if this sharp decrease was an anomaly.

City-wide about 7.0% of the population has been affected by coronavirus thus far. That drops to 6.5% if we remove probable cases.
