Appleton reported 78 new cases on 11/04/2020. Active cases rose by 30. For those interested, active cases make up 17.4% of all cases. Cases out of isolation increased by 48. There were no new deaths.
Also for those interested, deaths stand currently at 27 which makes the death rate among confirmed cases 0.7%. If, as Health Officer Eggebrecht has suggested, 40% of cases are asymptomatic (and therefore not being caught by testing), that would increase Appleton’s total number of coronavirus cases to 6,240 and push down the death rate to only 0.4%
